Our moving experience (July13, 2024) did not come as advertised. We were quoted 9 hours, plus or minus an hour. Our quote was based on an in-house meeting, where pictures of all items to be moved were taken. Three hours into the move, we were told by one of the movers that 12 hours or more would be required to complete the job! Bottom line: the quote we were given was grossly inaccurate; the truck was too small to accommodate all of our belongings; and, the movers appeared to be short-staffed (4 hands on deck instead of 3 would have made a difference). We informed the lead mover to work at getting the job done in as close to the 9

hour time-frame we were promised. After 8 hours, the movers delivered the last few items from the truck to our new home and departed. We were reimbursed for the hour that fell short of the 9 hours we had paid for. Subsequently, my wife, friend and I spent the better part of two days moving the several items that were left behind. On a positive note, the movers were polite and professional throughout the whole process.

We have had a few horrible experiences with moving companies over the years. We thought that this one would be different because the company was based in Edmonton, and the quote was made by someone who came to our previous home, surveyed everything that needed to be moved, and documented everything with pictures. When the quote was delivered a few days following the home visit, we were promised that it would be honoured. I was so impressed by the manner in which your estimator conducted himself, and the whole evaluation process, I recommended your company to a friend. I hope he and his wife have a better experience than we did.

I have never used movers before, after doing lots of research and price shopping we hired the transport guys. Firstly the office staff was so great and awesome to deal with, mike and Natalie really made sure they asked all the right questions, and everything was clear and upfront from the beginning. They fit us in last minute when another company canceled on us. The movers came early prepared and worked so hard. All our furniture was moved not a single damage or anything. Thanks again for the great moving experience we will for sure use your company again and recommend this company to anyone needing a professional moving company with great prices and awesome staff all around.

At the end of August 2021 we moved from Edmonton to Drumheller and The Transport Guys were absolutely amazing. They were efficient, professional and friendly. I mean "who smiles while moving a house full of furniture?" Not me... but they did. We were extremely happy with the move ... THEN one month later, at the end of September 2021, we had The Transport Guys move my mom also from Edmonton to live with us. Another house full of furniture and big job! Too much stress for me doing two moves back to back but once again we had great guys and amazing service - and that includes Natalie at the office. She is great to deal with! Their prices are quite reasonable and although it cost a bit because of two moves, it was worth every single cent. Both times they put beds and tables and other furniture back together for us, which is the last thing we want to do after moving. There was not one grumble from any of the guys! I already have recommended these guys to others and will continue to do so. Thank you ALL at The Transport Guys!

I was recently moving and I've called another moving company. When they haven't showed or answer my many miss calls, I needed someone like now. I called The Transport Guys and not only did they come on the same day, but they've stayed until I told them everything was good. The friendliest guys and the best service I've used. If I were to reccomend a moving company, I'd only call The Transport Guys! The secretary is soo helpful and the guys they've sent me were sent from heaven. I dont know what I would have done that day if it wasn't for The Transport Guys! Thank You for being there when no one else would show up. A million times Thank You!

On September 28/21 I was lucky enough to have this company help me with a move from a 10x20 storage unit to a townhouse in Castledowns.

I had an issue with getting the move confirmed from Aish because of my handicap. I spoke with a lady in the office named Rachel on several occasions changing dates and confirming the move and account being covered. Rachel was awesome. She was very friendly and accommodating and went out of her way to make things go as easily as possible for me.

My movers were Raj, Lorne, and Kelly and they were so awesome. They were friendly and professional and very accommodating to suggestions on where to place the items.

We had an issue with the storage unit being ransacked by someone which is an ongoing investigation regarding the storage unit. Boxes were damaged and tore open along with all the bags of clothing and bedding and some items were also discovered to be broken. The movers were awesome about picking up all the torn apart items in the back of the storage unit as I was unable to attend the unit. It went against their policy but due to certain issues with my disabilities and lack of a vehicle to return to the unit the company did everything they could to help make the move go as smoothly as possible.

We hired The Transport Guys for our local move after seeing their other positive reviews. Natalie and Mike helped us with the quote and pricing, and were great accomodating our date changes. Our crew of 6; Jeremiah, Pervender, Eric, Zach, Brandon and Arslan, worked extremely hard. They were efficient and communicated everything they were doing to us. We were able to save money from our original quote based on our pre-move organization, and the work of the crew. We would highly recommend The Transport Guys.

We recently hired The Transport Guys to assist with our parents move from a house to a seniors home. The office and the movers very both very professional and listened to all our needs. We hired them for both the packing and moving and the crew that came on both days worked hard fast and smooth together to ensure my parents had a great experience.
